.mt is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Malta.

If you are new to .mt domains refer to information section on the right. To apply for a new .mt domain first check availability of the domain below and follow instructions from there.

As of 1st December 2017, it is also possible to register .mt domains at the second level, such as myname.mt.

Existing Holders of third level domain names that have been duly registered before 1 December 2017 may have preferential rights till 30th November 2020 on the corresponding second level domain (2LD) names. To check if you are eligible to apply you will need to log into our website. The status of a particular 2LD name can be checked through the whois.
